Giraffe Centre
The Giraffe Centre is the creation of the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife (A.F.E.W. Kenya), a Kenyan non-profit organisation. Their main purpose is to educate Kenyan school children and youth on their country’s wildlife and environment, as well as give local and international visitors an opportunity to come into close contact with the world’s tallest species, the giraffe.

Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Elephant Sanctuary
Every day, from 11am - 12 noon, the Sanctuary invites visitors to book a space to join the orphaned elephants at their midday mud bath and milk feed at their orphanage in Nairobi National Park. Access for this special visit is by advance booking only. Funds from your visit help support the rescue and rehabilitation of the orphaned elephants in our care.

Nairobi Animal Orphanage | Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS)
The Nairobi Animal Orphanage, run by the Kenya Wildlife Service, serves as a treatment and rehabilitation centre for wild animals. Visitors can see lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other rescued wildlife up close while learning about conservation efforts in Kenya.

A large urban forest reserve in Gigiri, perfect for walking, cycling, and light hiking. Known for its peaceful trails, waterfalls, and well-maintained paths.

The Nairobi Railway Museum
A small but fascinating museum showcasing Kenya’s railway history, including vintage locomotives and exhibits from the colonial era and the construction of the Uganda Railway.
